As per a report in The Herald Sun, the funeral is likely to take place in the next 2 weeks. Shane Warne’s manager, James Erskine stated that the MCG would be the most appropriate place for the funeral of arguably the greatest spinner that the game has ever seen.

Sources have also stated that the Prime Minister of Australia, Scott Morrison, and the Premier of Victoria, Daniel Andrews also want to be present at the event.
