South African cricketer Tabraiz Shamsi recently revealed a hilarious thing about his wife Khadija Shariff. The couple were blessed with a baby boy earlier in March. Shamsi and his wife Khadija have been watching the ongoing Pakistan tour of England on their television screens.

Pakistan is touring England for a three-match Test and T20 series. The hosts outshined the visitors in the first Test by 3 wickets while the second match is being played at Southampton right now.

The cricketer had great fun while watching the Test match with his better half. Sharing his experience on social media, Shamsi wrote that Khadija enquired about the players namely Ben Woakes, Chris Pollock and Joffa Archer. The funny thing here is that she had wrongly spelt the names of the English Players.

Instead of Ben Woakes, Chris Pollock and Joffa Archer, the correct name of the players is Ben Stokes, Chris Woakes and Jofra Archer. Narrating this hilarious incident on twitter, Shamsi tweeted, “Watching cricket with my wife is the most entertaining thing ever. She asks me about players like Ben Woakes, Chris Pollock and Joffa Archer to name a few.”

On the professional front, Shamsi was part of the Proteas team which lost against Australia 1-2 in the three-match T20I series. Shamsi had however pulled out from the ODI series against Australia to be with his beloved wife after getting the news of her pregnancy. The Proteas were then scheduled to play a three-match ODI series against India in India but the tour was suspended owing to the increase in the number of coronavirus cases in the world.

Shamsi, after the birth of his son, had announced this news on his social media in March. The cricketer had tweeted, “…and then there were 3. I cannot thank @markb46, @GraemeSmith49 and the rest of the Proteas team and management enough for being so amazing and supportive throughout the process leading up to the birth of our bundle of joy #BabyShamsi.”

In an international career of 4 years, Shamsi has represented South Africa in 2 Test matches, 22 ODI and 22 T20 Internationals taking 6, 26 and 17 wickets respectively.
