Shikhar Dhawan is considered as one of the best prospects of the Indian cricket team in the limited-overs format and recently he turned up for a fun question and answer session hosted by the StanceBeam team. As soon as the Q and A session began, the first question put to him was that ‘Virat Kohli is quite skillful when it comes to imitating his colleagues, would you like to imitate any player?’

Dhawan added that “Rohit Sharma makes a lot of faces while sitting” and he himself made a few to give the proper look of the act. Moving further in the session, the experienced batter was asked ‘who is the best dancer in the Indian team?’

Dhawan named ‘Shreyas Iyer’. It is known for all that Iyer shakes his leg really well and it was only sometimes back that he was seen acing some dance steps with choreographer Dhanashree Verma who happens to be Yuvendra Chahal’s wife. He was further asked ‘what is the secret about your batting and great success in IPL?’

StanceBeam Sensor – Shikhar Dhawan’s favorite technology for the bat

Dhawan added that everyone has their own way of doing things, I prefer the ‘StanceBeam sensor’ which I use on my bat and it helps me keep track of all the things. StanceBeam bat sensor is a smart motion sensor that can be placed anywhere on a player’s bat which provides live feedback to players, coaches, and fans about the game. StanceBeam striker provides a whole range of information using metrics such as Bat Speed, Shot Efficiency, 3D Swing Analysis, and Power Index.

Moving further in the Q and A session, Dhawan was asked, ‘You play the flute very well, any particular song that you are learning?’ The batter stated that he is learning the old classic ‘Tere mere hotho pe.’

The 36-year-old was asked ‘if he fears anything’ to which he stated that, ‘I fear my negative thinking a lot and I try to remain away from it as much.’ The final question to the Delhi batter was, ‘Your favorite Punjabi singer and a line from your favourite song?’

Dhawan named ‘Gurdas Maan’ as his favorite singer and quoted Sajna ve Naiyo Kade.’
