Shikhar Dhawan who is a gutsy person on the field is also a nice, soft-hearted person off the field. In 2012, Dhawan married Aesha Mukherjee who is an Australian citizen. Aesha was married to an Australian businessman before she married Dhawan. She also has two kids, Rhea and Aliyah from her first marriage. Both these kids stay along with Shikhar Dhawan presently.
Shikhar and Aesha’s love story started on Facebook. She grabbed Shikhar’s attention instantly after he saw some of her pictures on the social media platform. Although Aesha is 10 years elder to Shikhar, age hardly mattered to this couple. They got married in 2012 and were also blessed with an adorable child, Zoravar. This couple is often spotted at the gym working out together and also share the workout videos on social media. Aesha sweats out hard at the gym even though she is 42 years old now. She inspires many to stay fit with the workout videos that she posts on Instagram.
Aesha recently posted a picture training with her daughter on Instagram. She termed it as a wonderful start to the day and added that age is just a number. “What a great way to start my weekends!!! Training with my daughter and best friend Aliyah Dhawan showing a 40-year-old mother with 3 kids vs a 17-year-old young lady. Age is just simply a number!!! Keep yourself fit in mind and body and live a quality life!! Be an example to your kids and pass on the positive mindset!!!,” she wrote.
Further, she also tagged Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma in the post. Anushka, who married Virat Kohli recently was Aesha’s gym partner in South Africa. Many reacted to Aesha’s post positively, calling her an inspiration.
Aesha garners praise from all around
Addressing her as a strong woman and amazing mother, Anushka Sharma wrote, “You are one strong & amazing woman Aesh! You’ve always led by example and that’s why your kids have turned out to be such compassionate & loving souls who will leave their own positive footprints in this world. Love you so much babe.” “thanks babe fr such words am humbled!!! Love u so much and the person you are!!!,” Aesha replied.
Calling her a perfect example, Umesh Yadav’s wife Tanya wrote, “Your are perfect example for all….proud of Aliyah stay strong…beautiful mother.” Mrs. Dhawan was quick to reply to her and wrote, “thanks my dear friend for such loving words!!! Loved u.”
Even Australian cricketer David Warner’s wife Candice Warner couldn’t stop praising Aesha, and commented, “So good, I love it!!!”. Mrs. Dhawan sent a courteous reply to her, “thanks babe!!! Your girls are also looking up to you!!”.
