The Pulwama attack on February 14 led to the Indian Air Force (IAF) air-striking on the terrorist camps in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) and Balakot. The strikes escalated the tensions between India and Pakistan to the highest level. Soon, Pakistan Air Force (PAF) also responded to the air-force as reportedly targetted the Indian Army’s military installations.

While the IAF air-strike led to even the cricketers lauding the step, even Pakistan players followed suit to laud their army men for their efforts. However, if the relations between the current crop of cricketers from both the countries is concerned, there is nothing lost. They share amazing camarderie between themselves with Shoaib Malik himself expressing his delight after equalling Virat Kohli in the T20I format and termed him ‘neighbour’ in his tweet. Despite that, he was trolled by many for his controversial tweet earlier.
