Muhammad Huraira, who happens to be the nephew of Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik, recently created history and inscribed his name into the record books. On Monday, he became the country’s second youngest cricketer to score a triple century, in the ongoing Quaid-er-Azam Trophy.
While playing his debut first-class season, he scored a triple hundred at the tender age of 19 years and 239 days. In the first-class history of Pakistan, Huraira is the eighth player overall to have reached the 300-run mark. This also happened to be the 23rd triple ton on Pakistan soil.
This list includes some elite names, which consists of a few overseas batters as well. The visiting batters to have scored a triple century in Pakistan are Mike Brearly, Mark Taylor, and Virender Sehwag, the last two in Tests. While the talented youngster was speaking to PakPassion, he said that he was fortunate to be the nephew of the former captain of Pakistan.

He went on to score an unbeaten 311 off 341 balls. This knock included forty boundaries and four sixes respectively, and it came at tea, during the third day of the final round. This spectacular performance was against Balochistan, in Karachi.
