The Eliminator of the Shpageeza Cricket League (SCL) 2019 will be played between Kabul Eagles and Speen Ghar Tigers at the Alokozay Kabul International Cricket Ground.
The match starts at 02:00 PM local time (03:00 PM IST) (09:30 AM GMT).
This game can be viewed on RTA World and RTA Pashto YouTube Channels.
After a couple of days break, the Kabul Eagles will be back on the field for the Eliminator game against the Speen Ghar Tigers. While the team has managed to dominate in the early parts of the tournament, they failed to finish just as well. After a hat-trick of victories, tables turned upside down as they bagged losses in both their last two matches. But because of the supremacy they displayed early on, they have still managed to finish third on the table.
The Speen Ghar Tigers, on the other hand, managed to win only two out of five games in the league stages. However, they’ve got the winning momentum on their side as they comprehensive defeated the Boost Defenders in the previous fixture. While the Tigers haven’t seemed to be the best of teams in this edition of the SCL, they have still got a chance to prove themselves and fancy a final berth by winning their next two games.
While the temperature is expected to be around 24C when this game begins, it will cool down eventually. The humidity isn’t on the higher side and there will be a gentle breeze blowing throughout the duration of the game.
For the afternoon games, the Kabul pitch seems to slow down making batting difficult. However, the Band-e-Amir Dragons have shown in the last game that a big score is quite possible if the batsmen apply themselves well.
Average first innings score: 152.5 (Last five games in this edition of the league)
Record of chasing teams: Won – 2, Lost – 3, Tied – 0
