Shreyas Iyer and Irfan Pathan enjoying quarantine in unique ways

Both of them looked in some jolly mood.

The coronavirus pandemic has continued to keep the world on its toes. The number of COVID-19 cases have gone up to 353,331 and the death tolls are at a stunning 15,408. Italy, Spain, China, Iran have been the most affected. Even the United Kingdom (UK) has had to face the wrath of the deadly virus. Even India are facing some turbulent times due to the deadly virus.

The death tolls in India have risen to nine. On Monday, March 23, Kolkata reported the news of a demise. Karnataka and Kerala have severely bore the brunt of the coronavirus. Even as the coronavirus keeps tormenting the globe, efforts of forming the vaccines are underway. The Indian government has locked down most states as the situations keeps deteriorating.


A few days ago, Narendra Modi, the Honourable Prime Minister of India, announced Janata Curfew on Sunday, March 22. He also asked the people to appreciate the efforts of the ones, who have been working by the clock to get some improvement to the situation. The sporting world has also been affected. The start of the IPL has been postponed from March 29 to April 15.

There’s also a chance for the tournament to either get cancelled or being played behind closed doors. Recently, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) was also shelved after a few games were played in front of empty stands. South Africa’s tour of India, New Zealand’s tour of Australia and Bangladesh’s tour of Ireland were also postponed.

Iyer and Irfan spending quality time    

In the meantime, Shreyas Iyer, the Indian middle-order batsman, is spending some quality time with his dog. In a clip, Iyer was seen doing a prank. He threw a big cloth up and down before running into his room. Not seeing Iyer, the dog got nervous and kept searching him everywhere. Iyer captioned the video and wrote, “Betty here, Betty there. Shreyas here, Shreyas where?!?”

Irfan Pathan, who retired from cricket back in January 2020, also shared an adorable video on Instagram. The southpaw captioned the video and wrote, “Bachpana laut aya #home #corona #quarantine @ayaanpathan_official kon kon ya ab bhi karta hai???
