The Indian team has been on a roll in the World Cup 2019 despite hitting a small speed breaker against England. They defeated Bangladesh in their last match and qualified for the semi-finals, along with Australia, England and New Zealand, more or less. Their only wait is to see where they play their semi-final match, Birmingham or Manchester.

Most of the credit for India’s success can be attributed to Virat Kohli’s leadership and he has been helped out a lot by Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami and the spin twins Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav. Talking on Chahal, though he has given away runs in the tournament, he has been able to pick up important wickets as well.

Same goes to KL Rahul, who has been consistent in getting some runs at the top, with 249 runs in innings. Rahul was also the latest guest on the very popular Chahal TV show, in which Yuzvendra Chahal has a fun chat with someone from the Indian squad. However, during the interview, there was a very special guest who interrupted the show midway leaving the fans in splits.

In the video, Chahal was heard saying: ” Puri koshish kar rahe hai Chahal TV me ghusne ki. Mein ne inhe gussa liya fir bhi”. The Indian captain replied, “Mujhe aana nahi hai, mujhe isne (Rahul) bulaya tha”. (I don’t want to come; Rahul had called me).”

Chahal took a dig at the captain and mentioned, “Ye scheme hai Chahal TV mein aane ki. Kaisi tadap hoti hai logo ko Chahal TV pe anne ki (this is a scheme to appear on Chahal TV. How eager people are to appear on Chahal TV).”

Here is the video:

Meanwhile, India now has only one game left to play in the league stages, against Sri Lanka to be played at the Headingley ground in Leeds on July 6, Saturday. If India wins the match, they will be assured of a top-two finish and that will determine whom they played in the knockout match and where they play it. Team India has a good record in Manchester, where they defeated Pakistan and West Indies.

While at Birmingham, they lost to England, while defeated the Tigers. The one short boundary at the ground has rendered their spinners ineffective. Therefore India would want to finish at the top spot which means they beat Sri Lanka and South Africa beats Australia, and then India will play New Zealand at Manchester.
