Magnificent captain with a stellar career
During his stint in professional cricket, Dhoni has etched his name in history for lifting numerous trophies. Dhoni recently attained glory with the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, as the side lifted their record-equalling fifth title in the competition.
The 42-year-old has won arguably every ICC title under his belt as the skipper of the national side. In 2007, he first lifted the maiden T20 World Cup in South Africa after which he won the 2011 Cricket Word Cup against Sri Lanka.
In 2013, he helped the Men in Blue lift the Champions Trophy, which also is the last ICC title team India has clinched thus far. Dhoni’s decade-long career has been an inspiration to many and his calm demeanour on the field is second to none.
