India and Sri Lanka are currently facing each other in the Super Four round game of the ongoing Asia Cup. After losing to Pakistan in a thrilling encounter, this is a must-win encounter for the Men in Blue and Rohit Sharma led the way for them with a fine half-century. After being put in to bat first, India lost KL Rahul and Virat Kohli early in the innings.
This led to Suryakumar Yadav and Rohit starting off cautiously, however, the latter soon started playing his shots. The Indian captain started the 10th over of the innings with a massive six off Asitha Fernando to get things going for the side. It was a fuller delivery on the stumps from the pace bowler and Rohit Sharma swung nonchalantly.
The ball went for the maximum over deep backward square leg boundary and hilariously hit the security guard who was standing outside the boundary. He was having his eyes on the crowd during the action in the middle and the ball ended up hitting him on the backside.

Rohit Sharma returns to form in style
Even though Rohit Sharma was hitting the ball well, he wasn't getting big scores in recent times. His form was being questioned as well even as the strike-rate kept improving. However, in the game against Sri Lanka, Rohit kept going despite wickets fell from the other end. He got to his fifty off just 32 deliveries and kept India in the game. He was well supported by Suryakumar Yadav as well who played second fiddle in the partnership.
As far as the playing XI is concerned, India made one tactical change to the playing XI. They included off-spinner Ravi Ashwin to tackle the left-handers in Sri Lankan side and left out Ravi Bishnoi who had actually done well in the game against Pakistan. To make it to the final on September 11, India will have to beat Sri Lanka and Afghanistan.
