Australia tighten screws on Pakistan with an aim to clinch Test series

Speaking of Australia, the side is currently taking on Pakistan in a three-game Test series. Hosting the Shan Masood-led side, Australia put in an exceptional performance during the first Test and managed to register a brilliant 360-run win. Both sides reassembled for the second Test at the MCG on December 26, the clash began with Australia batting first after losing the toss. The hosts got off to a brilliant start with the bat Usman Khawaja and Marnus Labuschagne scoring 42 and 63 runs, respectively.

The Aussies posted a total of 318 runs on the board in the first innings, after losing the first Test, Pakistan will be keen on heavily improving if they want to stay in the series. It is worth noting that if Australia win the clash, they will win the series. However, Pakistan do have a good chance to level the proceedings and it could be interesting to see how they fare at the MCG.
