Cricket Buzz: Social media trends on June 1

With the conclusion of IPL 2023, international cricket has once again snatched the centre stage, with Ben Stokes-led England kicking off a blockbuster summer of cricket with a one-off Test against Ireland at the Lord's. 

Meanwhile, team India are also hastening their preparation for their summit clash against Australia in the WTC final at the Oval later this month. Several Indian players, who are part of the WTC final squad are in the process of joining the training camp ahead of their much-anticipated clash.

Away from the action, several Pakistani players wished Mohammad Rizwan on his birthday, with Shadab Khan taking a cheeky dig at Iftikhar Ahmad. Wishes also poured in for veteran wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik, who is still going strong at the ripe age of 38.
