Cricket Buzz: Social media trends on June 26

Former Sri Lanka cricketer Angelo Mathews congratulated Dimuth Karunaratne after the latter scored his maiden ODI century in the 2023 ICC ODI World Cup Qualifiers against Ireland. He also lauded Dhananjaya De Silva, Charith Asalanka, and Wanindu Hasaranga for their performances during the match.

Dimuth Karunaratne shared some pictures after knocking out Ireland, and captioned it, "Keep walking the walk, One step at a time  #CWC23". Meanwhile, veteran wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik congratulated T Natarajan after inaugurating the Natarajan Cricket Academy. 
 
Former Australian cricketer Brad Hogg is impressed with the performance of Ashleigh Gardner and Sophie Ecclestone in the one-off Ashes Test between Australia and England. Former cricketer Tom Moody congratulated Australia following their win in the one-off Test match.
