'Have we ever seen the IPL table so wide open' - AB de Villiers excited seeing the competitive nature of teams in IPL 2023

Former Royal Challengers Bangalore star AB de Villiers is amazed by the fierce competition among teams for a spot in the playoff of IPL 2023. The former South African cricketer, who was a feature of the tournament for more than a decade, eluded to the fact that a whole host of teams are tied on ten points, hoping to seal their place in the top four.

The 16th edition of the tournament has witnessed several memorable encounters so far, with defending champions Gujarat Titans the standout performers so far. However, apart from Hardik Pandya's side, most teams have struggled for consistency, succumbing to surprise defeats every now and then, making the race for the top four an exciting affair for the spectators.
