Former Indian fast bowler Ajit Agarkar is celebrating his 45th birthday today and the cricketing fraternity poured in their wishes for the Mumbai-born lad. Agarkar played 26 Tests, 191 ODIs and 4 T20 Internationals for India from the period of 1998 to 2007 and was part of the 2007 T20 World Cup winning squad.

He had played a vital part during India’s strong transition in world cricket under the leadership of Sourav Ganguly and bowled some incredible spells. One of his mates, who had also started his international career around the same time, was the elegant left-hander Yuvraj Singh. Both have shared a lot of memories in the dressing room, and Yuvraj is known for pulling the legs of his teammates in amusing ways.

The 40-year-old posted an image of himself with Agarkar dressed in a suit and the seamer was blurred in a humorous way. In the caption, Yuvraj termed him as ‘monster’ in the tweet and wished him on his birthday.

Here's Yuvraj Singh's tweet on Agarkar's birthday

“Really not sure what you’re checking out monster whatever it is, I hope it made you happy Lots of love brother, wishing you a very Happy Birthday @imAagarkar,“ Yuvraj tweeted.

Meanwhile, Agarkar had a terrific start to his ODI career and he still holds the record for the fastest to 50 wickets by an Indian bowler. He was a handy batter down the order and holds the record for the fastest fifty by an Indian batter in the 50-over format which he achieved against Zimbabwe in 2000. He finished with an unbeaten 67 off 25 balls, hitting seven fours and four sixes in the innings and showed his prolific batsmanship skills.
