Former Indian skipper Virat Kohli reclaimed his form in ODI cricket after a glittering ton in the third and final ODI against Bangladesh, taking his tally to 72 centuries in international cricket. While he reached an incredible milestone on Saturday, the batting ace shared a heartwarming picture of himself along with his wife Anushka Sharma, celebrating their fifth wedding anniversary on Instagram.
Although Virat Kohli's brisk 113 off just 91 deliveries was overshadowed by Ishan Kishan's brutal double century in the match, Kohli's knock placed him among the greats of the game. He surpassed former Australian batting legend Ricky Ponting's record of 71 centuries and is now just behind the great Sachin Tendulkar in the list of players with the most centuries.
The 34-year-old, who tied the knot with renowned Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma in 2017, celebrates his fifth marriage anniversary today. Kohli shared a heartwarming picture of the adorable couple via his Instagram handle with a lovely message attached to it.
"5 years on a journey for eternity. How blessed Iam to find you , I love you with all my heart," read his post.
His better half, Anushka Sharma, who shared a story on her husband's record-setting century on Saturday, wrote a cryptic comment on Kohli's post."Thank god you didn’t go for ‘payback’ post," wrote Anushka.
