Veteran Australian opener David Warner's struggles in India was prolonged after he was dismissed for yet another low score in the second Test in Delhi. Indian speedster Mohammed Shami got rid of the southpaw with a beautiful delivery that invited a tentative poke from the Aussie batter.
Australian opener David Warner endured a tough time in the Test series opener in Nagpur and looked adamant to make amends in Delhi, hanging in the middle, surviving a hostile spell of fast bowling from Mohammed Siraj. He was on the receiving end of two vicious bouncers from the Indian pacers, which hit him on the helmet.
It took Warner nearly two dozen deliveries to get off the mark, and just when it looked like the opener had settled at the crease, he received a peach of a delivery from Mohammed Shami. The Indian pacer was asking a lot of questions from the Australian openers, and he finally got the reward in the 16th over of the match after dismissing Warner.

Despite Warner's dismissal, the visitors have made a steady start to the game as Usman Khawaja has looked solid from the other end. The southpaw has been proactive at the crease, employing the sweep and reverse sweep to great effect against the Indian spinners. Even though he has got some streaky boundaries to his name, the classy batter is looking determined to make his start count.
Meanwhile, Marnus Labuschagne has also started his innings on a positive note, dispatching the Indian bowlers to the fence every time they made a mistake. The spinners are getting some decent turn and bounce from the surface, making it an intriguing battle between bat and ball. Australia would be hoping for a solid stand between two of their best batters.
