Star all-rounder Hardik Pandya will be seen in action during India's three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, starting Sunday, October 06. The series will begin with the opening game at Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior, and ahead of the important match, Pandya has reached the venue city, and received a grand reception from the locals at the Rajmata Vijaya Raje Scindia Air Terminal.
The video of his arrival at the Gwalior Airport has been surfacing on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter. Security and police personnel are seen surrounding Pandya, who walked at the Arrivals gate in a lavender oversized T-shirt, black sunglasses, making an overall classic casual attire. Hardik left for the hotel in a Toyota car, and will be joined by his teammates soon.

Hardik Pandya's NCA visit
Notably, the Choryasi-born has reportedly flown from Bengaluru, after completing an intense training camp at the city's National Cricket Academy (NCA). Fellow teammate and brother Krunal Pandya was also present at the facility, while Hardik also shared a few adorable pictures of his son Agastya accompanying him.
The cricketer, who was supposed to take over the full-time captaincy duties for the T20 team, was not preferred and Suryakumar Yadav was named as the new leader. The reason behind this decision was explained by Gautam Gambhir and Ajit Agarkar as a strategic decision, as Pandya has had bad luck with injuries, and having Yadav as captain would make more sense, as per the explanation by the head coach and chief selector.
Coming to the T20I series, India have already named the 15-man squad, led by Suryakumar Yadav, followed by an announcement from the visiting Bangladesh team as well. After Gwalior, the teams will travel to national capital New Delhi for the second match, and then finally to Hyderabad for the third and final fixture of the series.
