Star India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja hinted at his comeback to the Indian side as he shared a special video for completing 15 years in international cricket. The 35-year-old made his international debut on February 08, 2009 during the fifth ODI against Sri Lanka in Colombo and completed 15 years in international cricket on February 08, 2024. The spin all-rounder didn’t have a memorable outing with the ball on his debut as he gave away 40 runs in six overs.

However, he made up with a good knock from his bat scoring 60* (77) albeit in a losing cause. The Saurashtra-born cricketer won his first Player of the Match award in his 12th ODI as he scalped 4/32 in ten overs against Sri Lanka in the 3rd ODI in Cuttack. Courtesy of his marvellous performances, he became a regular mainstay in the team in both limited-overs formats.

His Test debut came during the fourth Test against England in Nagpur in December 2012 where he picked three wickets and scored 12 runs with the bat in the game. Since then, Jadeja has become one of the greatest all-rounders of the modern era courtesy of his contributions with both bat and ball across all three formats.

Jadeja’s most notable performance came in the Champions Trophy 2013 as he helped India win their second title through his all-round performance in the final. Jadeja scored a brilliant 33* (25) with the bat and later picked up 2/24 in four overs helping India win the game by five runs. He was also awarded the ‘golden ball’ for finishing as the leading wicket-taker of the tournament with 12 wickets to his name from five innings at an average of 12.83.
