The Indian Premier League has an avid fan base, and the social media buzz surrounding the T20 tournament has been amazing. The Mumbai Indians (MI), led by India skipper Rohit Sharma, is the most successful IPL franchise, having won five titles. After a dismal IPL season last year, MI are back on track, having won three of their five IPL 2023 matches.
Rishi Popawala, a passionate Mumbai Indians fan, went far above and beyond to show his support for his favourite team during the ongoing IPL as he carried the team's flag to the Jungfraujoch mountain pass, commonly known as the "Top of Europe." Notably, this is the highest point at which the Mumbai Indians flag has ever been unfurled. Popawala took to Twitter and shared the news, posting three photos of himself with the team flag.
"So I’ve officially set 2 records today- 1. I became the first person to take a Mumbai Indians flag to the top of Switzerland as well as Europe - Mt. Jungfraujoch 2. This is the highest a Mumbai Indians flag has ever been," Popawala tweeted. Meanwhile, MI also shared the post and wrote, "Our #OneFamily, scaling new heights, making us proud!"

MI beat SRH by 14 runs in Hyderabad
MI staged an incredible comeback in the ongoing IPL after losing their first two matches against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as they defeated the Delhi Capitals (DC), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) to record three victories in a row.
MI won their last encounter against SRH by 14 runs thanks to an all-round performance from Cameron Green and a two-wicket hauls from Jason Behrendorff, Riley Meredith and Piyush Chawla. After being asked to bat, Green (64 off 40) produced a half-century as MI posted a competitive 192/5.
During the chase, SRH lost wickets at regular intervals and were bowled out for 178 with one ball remaining. Meanwhile, Arjun Tendulkar took his maiden IPL wicket, dismissing Bhuvneshwar Kumar to defend for his team in the last over.
