IPL 2024: Cute fan requests cameraman 'sirf ladkiyo ko mat dikhana', video goes viral

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season is almost at its end, and the excitement surrounding the cash-rich league is at an all-time high. Fans of all ages visit the stadiums, eagerly awaiting the opportunity to catch a glimpse of their favorite players in action.

However, in the middle of all this, a young cricket fan recently stole the spotlight with a unique request that quickly went viral.

The incident took place during one of the IPL matches, where a young fan was spotted in the stands, donning the jersey of the Gujarat Titans (GT) at the grand Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. His excitement was visible as he leaned forward, attempting to catch the attention of the cameraman. 

The young fan called out to the cameraman, "Humko bhi dikhana, sirf ladkiyo ko mat dikhana (Show us as well… don't just focus on girls)". His request was a gentle reminder that the joy of cricket goes beyond gender and age and that every fan, regardless of their background, deserves to be seen and celebrated.

The cameraman, clearly delighted by the boy's request, responded with a reassuring smile and a nod, promising to fulfil his request. The video quickly went viral and received over 6.8 million views, and many fans have reacted to the clip.

KKR await their opponent for Chepauk glory

Earlier, the same kid was seen meeting GT skipper Shubman Gill after a practice session at the same venue. The moment of the meeting was uploaded on his Instagram handle with a caption reading “Finally Meet With Shubman Gill.”

The ongoing IPL season has been absolutely brilliant. With two matches remaining, three teams are still fighting for the prestigious title. The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), having secured the top position on the points table, have already advanced to the finals. Meanwhile, the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and the Rajasthan Royals (RR) will clash in Qualifier 2, with the winning team earning a spot in the finals to face KKR on May 26 in Chennai.
