Ace batter of India Women, Jemimah Rodrigues, recently took to Instagram to express her displeasure at not managing to secure tickets for the Coldplay concert to be held at the DY Patil Stadium in January 2025.
Other than being overtly passionate about cricket, Jemimah also enjoys being actively engaged with music, as can be quite frequently seen with her posting music covers on her social media. A six-slide post saw Jemimah staring down at the venue from one of the windows of a room at the renowned hotel, Courtyard by Marriot, facing the stadium in a photograph captured at night that must've been taken recently.
The second slide was a screenshot of the interface of the booking screen which displayed a humongous number on the waiting list, indirectly implying she wouldn't get a chance to witness one of her favourite bands live.
The caption (Jiss din DY Patil mein enter karne ke liye ticket chahiye tha, usi din nahi mila yaar [the day I wanted a ticket to enter DY Patil, was when I couldn't secure it]) summed up the Mumbai-born's dejection as much as the remainder of the slides did which were a combination of fictional animals with them having tears in their eyes.

Rodrigues set to feature in Women's T20 World Cup 2024
Coming to the cricketing side of things, Rodrigues has her work cut out with the Women's T20 World Cup 2024 approaching nearer by the day.
Her debut season at the Women's Caribbean Premier League was not something she would fondly recollect, with just 105 runs coming from her willow in the five innings she featured for the Trinbago Knight Riders.
However, there will be a couple of warmup games in which she will have the opportunity to finetune herself for the marquee event, with India Women slated to take on West Indies Women and South Africa Women on September 29 and October 1, respectively.

Much like she was disappointed over not being able to get to witness the Coldplay concert, she would be more than keen on not disappointing the plethora of Indian fans at the 20-over event to be hosted in the United Arab Emirates.
