Over the years, there are many images that have stood out with MS Dhoni—from a six to win the World Cup final in 2011 to his quick stumpings behind the wicket over and over again.
But one thing that sticks out in the mind, above all, is his attitude. There's not a moment in sporting history that Dhoni has not given it his all, or at least everything in his powers to win. But how does he keep on delivering it time and time again?
Well, it comes down to simple things - Carpediem, i.e. seize the moment. Living in the moment, taking deep breaths, holding his composure and dictating terms.
With four needed off the last ball, Dhoni was spotted sitting in the Chennai Super Kings' dugout with his eyes closed. The calm and composed Dhoni turned emotional when Ravindra Jadeja hit the winning runs and hugged MS Dhoni as Narendra Modi Stadium turned into a party with people having the time of their lives, dancing and enjoying Chennai Super Kings' victory at 2 in the night.
