Valentine's Day was celebrated on Wednesday, February 14. JioCinema shared a video where Jemimah is asked to give a rose to her favourite player in the team. The Indian team were practising at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The talented youngster decided to give the rose to the "most exciting upcoming player" in the team.

The 23-year-old walked towards Shreyanka Patil and offered her the rose, which the spin-bowling all-rounder accepted gleefully. Patil looked a bit overwhelmed when Jemimah called her the most exciting upcoming player. The latter was quick to say," Don't get emotional, it's okay."

"This rose means a lot. I think I'm gonna sprinkle some water and save it for a long time," Patil said. Jemimah suggested that she should keep it in her diary.

Shreyanka, Jemimah gear up for WPL 2024

The first edition of the much-awaited Women's Premier League turned out to be a massive success as fans flocked to the stadiums to watch their favourite stars last year. The second season of the cash-rich league gets underway on Friday, February 23, with defending champions Mumbai Indians taking on last year's runner-up Delhi Capitals at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Jemimah will turn up for the Capitals once again, while Patil will continue plying her trade for the Royal Challengers Bangalore, who finished fifth on the points table.
