For the unversed, Harsha Bhogle shares a very unique bond with Dhoni. Though he is not that close to Dhoni like Virat Kohli or Suresh Raina are, but Bhogle has always got the best out of the CSK skipper during the post-match conversations. Some fans even say that a documentary film can be curated out of what MS Dhoni speaks during these conversations.
After the IPL 2023 summit clash, Bhogle somehow managed to get answer to the question of whether Dhoni will play the next season of the cash-rich event. The fans had been happy after CSK's title win, but Dhoni's response made their day, as the wicketkeeper-batter revealed that he would work hard on his fitness, try his best to recover from the knee injury and comeback next year if possible, which would be gift to the fans in return of the tremendous support and love that they showered for him and the team during the two months.
Dhoni admitted himself in Mumbai's Kokilaben Hospital immediately after the conclusion of IPL 2023, and successfully underwent the knee surgery. He is currently at his hometown in Ranchi and has decided to undergo rehab slowly and steadily.
