Paul Heyman is a popular figure when it comes to the WWE circle, and he is currently, serving as the advocate and the manager for his client Roman Reigns who is the undisputed WWE Universal Champion. Heyman turned 57 on September 11 and Times Now Sports' official Twitter addressed his birthday by sharing a throwback news that went viral on social media in the 2019 World Cup.

It has to be noted, MS Dhoni was an active international cricketer in the 2019 World Cup for India. The ICC hailed the veteran at the time by tweeting “Eat, sleep, finish games and repeat”, which is a common phrase that is used with Heyman’s previous client Brock Lesnar. Heyman replied to ICC’s tweet demanding for royalties and it was one of the talked about social media matters.

“My most (in)sincere compliments to @cricketworldcup for promoting the amazing @msdhoni by paraphrasing my mantra for @WWE #UniversalChampion @BrockLesnar #EatSleepConquerRepeat. Our royalties may be paid in cash, check, stock or cryptocurrency," Heyman had replied to ICC.

Paul Heyman takes a dig at MS Dhoni to promote his client Roman Reign's supremacy

Heyman has been quite keen on promoting his client Roman Reigns on any platform available and now he has taken a dig at Dhoni, after a throwback news piece came on his way.

"For the record, my Tribal Chief Roman Reigns would smash Mahendra Singh Dhoni's numbers on the cricket field... and that is something everyone should acknowledge," Heyman said in a post shared on Instagram Story.

It remains to be seen if Dhoni responds to Heyman’s post, as the former Indian captain is not much into social media battles and digs. He was recently spotted in the US Open alongside Kapil Dev watching the Men’s singles quarterfinals and has confirmed his participation in next IPL for the Chennai Super Kings. He has a huge fan base in the country and across the world for his ability to keep calm under pressure situations and finish games for his side.
