Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni, well known for his cricketing prowess, was recently spotted cruising the streets of Ranchi in a classic Pontiac Firebird (1973). Presently, he is recuperating in his hometown following a knee surgery that was necessitated after the conclusion of IPL 2023.

Throughout the IPL 2023 tournament, Dhoni exhibited remarkable leadership skills, expertly guiding the relatively-inexperienced Chennai Super Kings (CSK) unit to a record fifth championship victory, securing a resounding triumph over the mighty defending champions, Gujarat Titans (GT) in the final.

A Twitter user posted a captivating video on Monday, capturing the CSK captain's affection for vintage cars, accompanied by the caption "MS Dhoni and his love for vintage cars !! 🥵💥"

Recently, MSD was spotted driving a vintage Rolls Royce 1980

Additionally, another video surfaced recently, wherein MS Dhoni was seen taking a drive in his vintage Rolls Royce 1980. The viral video showcased the 42-year-old legend driving a splendid blue Rolls Royce with a fan on a bike riding alongside him, recording the memorable moment.

The car accommodated two more individuals besides Dhoni. It is noteworthy that the former Indian captain has repeatedly professed his fondness for bikes. However, the video reveals an unanticipated soft spot in his heart for vintage automobiles as well.

‘Captain Cool’ underwent knee surgery post the intense two-month-long IPL season and has since been relishing quality family time in Ranchi. MS Dhoni, an iconic wicketkeeper-batter, bid adieu to international cricket on August 15, 2020. Despite his retirement, he continues to participate in the IPL and managed to secure championship victories for the Chennai Super Kings in 2021 and 2023.

There have been intriguing hints suggesting that the legendary cricketer might contemplate a return to the IPL in 2024, conditional on his successful recovery from the recent knee surgery. Fans will be hoping for his successful recovery and comeback on the cricket field.
