Pakistan's leg spinner Shadab Khan confirms 'nikkah' with Saqlain Mushtaq's daughter

Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan took to social media to confirm his ‘nikkah’ with the daughter of former Pakistan cricketer Saqlain Mushtaq on Monday, January 23. However, the all-rounder did not let out the official name of the bride as the duo tied the knot in an intimate nikkah ceremony with close family and friends. 

The player updated fans on the new innings of his life as he shared a post on Twitter regarding his marriage. He also added that his choice is to always keep his family life separate from his professional career.

"Alhamdulilah, today was my Nikkah. It is a big day in my life and start of a new chapter. Please respect my choices and those [of my] wife, and our families. Prayers and love for all,” the leg spinner tweeted. 

“Salam everyone. Alhamdulilah, today was my Nikkah. I am becoming part of mentor Saqi (Saqlain Mushtaq) bhai's family. When I started playing cricket, I wanted to keep my family life separate, my wife has asked for the same, she wants her life to remain private. I would kindly request everyone to respect her choice and our family's choice. However, if you want to send salami I will send an account number,” read his post on the microblogging site.

The all-rounder has impressed the world with his fine performances both with the ball and with the bat. The star all-rounder last featured in a Big Bash League (BBL) clash between Sydney Thunder and Hobart Hurricanes.

As the wedding season is on, recently Shan Masood, too, tied the knot with his fiancee Nische Khan. The intimate nikkah ceremony was held in Peshawar on Friday January 20. In December last year, pacer Haris Rauf began his second innings as he tied the knot with Muzna Masood Malik in a close gathering in Islamabad.
