Prithvi Shaw shifts to Rs 16.5 crore home in Mumbai, shares pics

Young India cricketer and Delhi Capitals opener Prithvi Shaw recently shifted to a luxurious new residence in the heart of Mumbai's upscale Bandra neighbourhood.

The 22-year-old batting prodigy, was retained by DC ahead of the IPL 2022 auction for a whopping INR 7.5 crore. He has invested a substantial INR 16.5 crore to acquire his dream house in the city of dreams. Thomas Parambil Architects and Veterans Interiors have worked on the aesthetics of Shaw's latest residence.

Situated on KC Road, Shaw's home also boasts an expansive 1654-square-foot terrace, providing Shaw with ample space. Reflecting on his latest purchase, the youngster took to his social media to announce the news. It is worth noting that Shaw had brought this house back in 2022, but delays in house possession took time in him being able to move to the residence.

Apart from the expansive terrace area, the main floor of the house is 2209 square feet, which can be considered as lavish in Mumbai terminologies.

Shaw's IPL 2024 so far

The young Mumbai batter, who was first snapped up by DC for INR 1.2 crore in the 2018 IPL auction, has since cemented his place as one of the most exciting prospects in the league. His consistent performances over the past few seasons, including a standout 2021 campaign where he scored 479 runs.

In the ongoing season of IPL, Shaw has so far scored 119 runs in three games, including a half-century against Mumbai Indians. DC who are currently reeling at the bottom of the table will face Lucknow Super Giants in their next fixture.
