Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) flamboyant batter was seen feasting on his dinner soon after his dismissal against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Notably, the two fierce rivals have taken centerstage in the high-octane match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Monday, April 17.
MS Dhoni-led CSK posted a humongous total of 226 runs in their stipulated 20 overs of the contest. In response, the opening duo of Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis needed to hand a decent head start to remain steady in the run chase.
Kohli, who started off with a boundary, was soon dismissed in a peculiar manner by the Impact Player, Akash Singh, for six runs off four balls. Just a few moments later, the flamboyant batter was seen in the management room, having his dinner soon after his dismissal.

Soon after the dismissals of Mahipal Lomror and Kohli, skipper du Plessis and explosive hitter Glenn Maxwell shouldered the responsibility to get the big runs. The two targeted the rival unit during the powerplay and got 75 runs in the powerplay (1-6 overs).
In addition to this, Maxwell and du Plessis added a massive 126-run partnership in just 61 balls to steer the side to a potential win before the former was sent packing. On the other hand, CSK’s bowling unit will need to get the required breakthroughs in order to revive their game and defend the total. Though RCB have an uphill task during the chase, it remains to be seen if the side can clinch the two points in the electrifying clash.
