The 15th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 saw Royal Challengers Bangalore take on the KL Rahul-led Lucknow Super Giants at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Monday, April 10.

Coming in to bat first, Royal Challengers Bangalore posted 212 runs on the board thanks to fantastic knocks by Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, and Faf du Plessis. The top-three batters of the side all completed their half centuries as Bangalore posted a huge target of 213 runs for Lucknow to chase.

In the second innings, as the KL Rahul-led side looked to chase the target, disaster struck early for them as man-in-form Kyle Mayers was dismissed by Siraj in the very first over. Following that, things worsened for the visitors when Wayne Parnell came in to bowl in the fourth over of the game.

Parnell took two wickets in the over to further dent Lucknow's batting unit. The 33-year-old dismissed Deepak Hooda and Krunal Pandya and celebrated in style, copying the celebration of legendary footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.
