The entire cricketing world is eagerly waiting for Rishabh Pant’s comeback on the cricket pitch following his horrific car crash in December 2022. The wicketkeeper-batter has made remarkable progress in his recovery and was recently seen during the IPL 2024 mini-auction in Dubai on Tuesday, December 19. Following the end of the auction, Pant joined former India captain MS Dhoni for a game of Pickleball.
The duo was spotted enjoying their time off competing in a game of Pickleball, and the video of the incident has gone viral on social media. Notably, both Pant could be seen moving on the court without any discomfort which is a great sign for Indian fans desperately waiting for his comeback.

Notably, Delhi Capitals have confirmed that Pant will be captaining their side in the upcoming season. There are also reports of his team India comeback during the five-match Test series against England in January-February.
Following his injury, Pant was undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru and was putting in hard yards to make a comeback as soon as possible.
DC bought Harry Brook for INR 4 Crore
Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals reinforced their squad during the auction ahead of the season as they bought England’s big-hitting youngster Harry Brook for INR 4 Crore and the talented South African Batter Tristan Stubbs for INR 50 Lakh. They also onboarded the uncapped Indian talent Ricky Bhui and Rasikh Darat their base price of INR 20 Lakh.

DC further roped in 19-year-old wicketkeeper-batter Kumar Kushagra for INR 7.20 Crore. In order to reinforce their bowling, Delhi bought left-arm Australian seamer Jhye Richardson for INR 5 Crore and another wicketkeeper in Shai Hope.
