The five-time IPL champions took a much-needed break in Jamnagar, Gujarat, to recharge after a horrific start to their 2024 campaign. After losing three matches on the trot to start the 2024 IPL season, the Mumbai Indians hit the pause button, taking a five-day break between games.
The team travelled to Jamnagar, where they indulged in fun aqua activities and a lively dinner party with live music. During the team's time in Jamnagar, MI's former skipper Rohit Sharma was seen spending quality time with his wife Ritika Sajdeh, and daughter Samaira.
Upon their arrival at the bay, Rohit was spotted coming out of the airport with his sleeping daughter in his arms. As the paparazzi and the fans who were waiting at the exit gates shouted his name, Rohit gently shushed them, requesting to stay quiet so as not to disturb Samaira's sleep. He quickly sat in his car along with his wife and daughter. While the other team members took the bus to travel back to the team hotel.

The Mumbai franchise shared videos of the players enjoying their break. Rohit was seen jet-skiing, while Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, and Ishan Kishan took part in a photoshoot. The dinner party was a lively affair, with live musicians entertaining the players and support staff. Hardik and Rohit were captured sharing an affectionate hug during the aqua activities.

Rohit's performance so far in the season has been dismal as he is yet to score big. In three innings he has scored 69 runs, and in the last game against Rajasthan Royals, he got a first-ball duck.
The much-needed break seemed to have the desired effect, as the five-time champions appeared rejuvenated and ready to bounce back. After the losses to start the campaign, the break in Jamnagar allowed the team to refocus and recharge before their next match against the Delhi Capitals at the Wankhede Stadium on April 7.
