SA vs IND: Suryakumar Yadav and Co. arrive in Durban ahead of T20I series

Suryakumar Yadav-led squad arrived in Durban ahead of their multi-format series against South Africa. Team India will play three T20Is, as many ODIs, and two Tests during the tour. The first T20I will be played at Kingsmead in Durban on December 10.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a video of the Indian players who got a warm reception at the airport as well as at the hotel. Upon their arrival, the T20I squad received a warm welcome from the fans and the hotel staff who were seen donning traditional attire.

India will be hoping to clinch the T20I series in order to achieve success on the foreign soil. The two-match Test series were also crucial as they are part of the World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 cycle.
Following the multi-format series against South Africa, India will continue their cricketing journey with a three-game T20I series against Afghanistan in January. The T20I series will also be a preparation run for the Men in Blue for the highly-anticipated ICC Men's T20 World Cup in 2024, scheduled to be jointly hosted in the West Indies and the USA in June next year.
India are coming after a convincing 4-1 victory in the five-match T20I series against Australia on home soil after the conclusion of the 2023 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup as Suryakumar Yadav led the team to a series win at home.
India demonstrated exceptional performances and managed to beat the ODI World Cup champions in the first two games. Australia then staged a stunning comeback and won the third game by five wickets. However, Suryakumar Yadav and Co. clinched the series title winning the fourth game. They wen on to win the final game to end the series on a high note.
