The second match of the inaugural SA20 edition between the Joburg Super Kings and Durban Super Giants saw a moment of magic when a spectator grabbed a one-handed stunner to become the first entrant into the 'Catch a Million' competition.

The Super Kings led by Faf du Plessis batted first in the second match of the ongoing competition. However, the Men in Yellow got off to a slow start and were looking at a mediocre total. That is before Donavon Ferreira opened his shoulders for the Super Kings. The strongly built batter went on a rampage, especially against the slower bowlers.

Ferreira smashed Prenelan Subrayen's fourth delivery of the tenth over for a gigantic six. While the shot was a spectacle in itself, an elderly spectator plucked the ball in the top tier to complete a jaw-dropping catch. He completed the catch with just his left hand and is in line to win a share of one million rand after his stunning effort off Donavon Ferreira's massive six.

His catch meant he is the first entrant of the newly introduced 'Catch a Million’ competition by Betway, which enables fans to win a share of one million rand. The rules of the competition state that the catch needs to be completed cleanly with one hand only without coming in contact with a hat, umbrella, another hand, shoulder chest, or juggled either between hands or one hand.

Coming to the match, Donavon Ferreira's sizzling 82 off just 42 deliveries resurrected the Super Kings' batting innings, and helped them reach a daunting total of 190 runs, a total that looked unlikely after the conclusion of the powerplay. The Super Kings won the game eventually to get off the mark in the competition.
