Former cricketer Jonty Rhodes took to X (Formerly Twitter) to share an incredible experience he had with his driver in Bengaluru. The 54-year-old shared that on his way to the airport, his driver took him to a nearby restaurant and ordered some of his favourite food. However, one of the trollers on the internet questioned his integrity, saying that the South African doesn’t have ‘class’ as he didn’t offer food to his driver.
Rhodes clarified that the other person in the picture was a complete stranger and he did offer his driver food. He mentioned that it was his driver who took the picture and he eventually paid for the tea that his driver had.
I have been sitting on this reply for a couple of days. The gentleman at my table is a stranger to me, and my driver was taking the picture. He did not eat, just ordered for me some of his favourite food. He just had tea, and yes, I did pay for it #shameonyou https://t.co/JPXphe60I3

“Could either have stayed in my room getting depressed by what’s on the news, or get out and move. Glad I chose the latter. It’s been a really busy few weeks and I am not looking after myself. 2024 is going to be a big year, and I need to be mentally and physically prepared. Who is with me?” Jonty tweeted.
