An old video of former India skipper MS Dhoni has gone viral on social media, in which the stumper-batter is spotted talking about his favourite video game. In the video, the legendary cricketer mentioned that he doesn’t have a particular favourite game but likes ‘one-person shooting games’.
Notably, the Ranchi-born cricketer expressed his love for Player Unknown's Battlegrounds, popularly known as PUBg in 2021. His wife Sakshi Dhoni too pointed this out in the media and talked about Dhoni’s love for video games. The cricketer himself was spotted multiple times playing Candy Crush among many other games on his iPad.
“I don’t have a favourite video game but most of the games that I like are first-person shooting games. Like the one I’m playing right now. Just me and my gun, that kind of a thing,” Dhoni said in the video going viral.
Dhoni picked Irfan Pathan, Suresh Raina, and Sreesanth as his partners in crime
The former India international was known for his pranks in the dressing room. In the same old video, Dhoni mentioned that he has no problem sharing the room with any of his teammates and added that Irfan Pathan, Suresh Raina, and S Sreesanth are the ones with whom he enjoys the most.
“Anyone from the team would be fine. I don’t have a particular choice (regarding his roommate). See, we have a lot of fun. There’s Irfan, Raina, and Sreesanth with whom I enjoy the most but as room partner.. anyone would do,” Dhoni said.
Meanwhile, the veteran cricketer is all set to feature for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2024. After winning the last edition of the championship, Dhoni underwent knee surgery in Mumbai and is now fit to make his return. As per reports, the domestic players of CSK are set to regroup towards the end of February in order to start their training for the upcoming season. Dhoni is expected to join them in Chennai but a lot depends on where the next edition of the IPL will be played, given the general elections are slated to take place in 2024.
