Team India  star batter Virat Kohli gave a stunning reaction when fans chanted 'RCB RCB' during the second T20I encounter between India and Australia played at the Vidharbha Cricket Association (VCA) Stadium in Nagpur on September 23 (Friday).

Playing a rain-curtailed game, team India batters led by skipper Rohit Sharma completed an outstanding chase as they leveled the series. Both teams will face each other in the series decider to be played on September 25 (Sunday).

Virat Kohli urges the crowd to cheer for India instead of RCB

In a video posted by a fan on Twitter, Virat can be seen pointing toward the team India official emblem marked on his t-shirt as the crowd can be heard chanting 'RCB RCB'. Kohli's IPL teammate Harshal Patel can also be seen in the video.

It is to be noted that the star batter has led the Bangalore-based franchise in the IPL for many years and he continues to be one of the most valuable members of the Red Army. Meanwhile, the right-handed batter will be looking to perform well in the final T20I encounter to be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad on September 25. Kohli has been quiet with the bat in the ongoing series so far. While he scored just two runs in the first T20I encounter, Australia's spinner Adam Zampa got the better of him during the second match of the series as he scored 11 runs before getting out.

Kohli was going through a lean patch with the bat, but he made a resounding comeback in the 2022 T20 Asia Cup as he was the second-highest run-getter in the series behind Mohammad Rizwan. Kohli also completed his 71st international century against Afghanistan which was also his maiden hundred in the 20-over format. The star batter is expected to play a crucial role in the upcoming 2022 T20 World Cup slated to be played in Australia from next month.
