Sachin congratulated Virat Kohli on the birth of his second child

Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma welcomed their second child, Akaay, on February 15. The power couple took to X (formerly Twitter) on February 20 to announce the news as wishes poured in from various quarters. Sachin himself took to social media to congratulate the couple on the birth of their second child and wished the couple more glee and mirth in the future.

“Congratulations to Virat and Anushka on the arrival of Akaay, a precious addition to your beautiful family! Just like his name lights up the room, may he fill your world with endless joy and laughter. Here's to the adventures and memories you'll cherish forever. Welcome to the world, little champ,” Sachin tweeted.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli is yet to make any public appearance since he opted out of the ongoing England series. He hasn’t clarified his return but the star cricketer is likely to feature for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2024 next. His spot in the T20I squad is currently under threat as BCCI secretary Jay Shah hasn’t given the green light about the same. When asked about the same, Shah replied that it would be decided in the coming time.
