Hosts England and West Indies are well engaged in a five-game Test series between each other. Currently, both sides are playing the second Test of the series at Trent Bridge, in Nottingham. The visitors have played valiantly and they are scraping for a win in the second clash.

However, a moment involving pacer Shamar Joseph has been going viral. Facing Gus Atkinson in the 107th over of the first innings, Shamar Joseph played a magnificent pull shot to send the ball out of the ground. As a result, the ball landed on the roof of the stadium, breaking one of the tiles in the process. 

It is also worth noting that Joseph went on to score 33 runs in 27 deliveries. His cameo helped West Indies to a commendable total of 457 runs in the first innings. The clip of Joseph’s monstrous six has been going viral all over social media.

England maintain lead of 207 runs against West Indies

Speaking of the clash between England and West Indies, after winning the first game of the series, the second Test began with England coming in to bat first. Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope put in brilliant performances, scoring 71 and 121 runs, respectively.

 Furthermore, Ben Stokes scored 69 runs as England posted a total of 416 runs in the first innings. As for West Indies, Alzarri Joseph was the highest wicket-taker, with three wickets to his name. Kevin Sinclair, Kavem Hodge, and Jayden Seales took two wickets each, with Shamar Joseph striking once. 

As the Windies came out to bat, the side posted a total of 457 runs with the bat. Kavem Hodge scored 120 runs, with Alick Athanaze and Joshua Da Silva scoring 82 runs each. Furthermore, as the second innings came around, England ended day 3 of the clash with a score of 248 runs with the loss of three wickets, maintaining a lead of 207 runs.
