Stuart Binny produced one of the standout moments of the World Championship of Legends 2026 season opener, completing a stunning diving catch to dismiss Fawad Ahmed and seal India Champions' victory over Australia Champions in Match 1 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on October 3, 2026.
At the start of that over, Australia Champions were 150 for 9 after 16 overs, needing India Champions to take one final wicket to close out the match. Piyush Chawla was the bowler, and a good-length delivery drew a mistimed shot from Fawad Ahmed. Binny flung himself to his right and held on to a low, diving catch, removing Ahmed and completing the dismissal that ended the Australian innings. Australia Champions were bowled out for 150 in 16.2 overs.
