Webster had come in at number seven in a lineup that included both himself and Green as all-rounders. The only extended partnership Australia managed came at the fifth wicket, where Steven Smith and Alex Carey added 55 runs together. That stand ended when Ebadot got the ball to sneak through Carey's defences off the inside edge after the drinks break, with Carey departing for 19.
