WI vs IND 2023: Virat Kohli heard saying 'Bhatta phenk raha hai' on stump mic while facing Kraigg Brathwaite

Day 2 of the ongoing Test between West Indies and India saw the visitors putting up yet another dominating performance, riding on centuries by Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal. India closed Day 2 on 312/2, with Jaiswal and Virat Kohli unbeaten on 143* and 36* respectively.

An interesting incident that took place on the second day was when Virat Kohli faced Windies skipper Kraigg Brathwaite. Kohli, who had been struggling to score runs quickly, questioned the opposition skipper’s bowling style while facing one of his deliveries.

During his innings on Day 2, Kohli was heard saying ‘Bhatta fenk raha hai’ on the stump mic, thereby questioning the legality of Brathwaite’s bowling action. No action was taken as Kohli never took the issue to the on-field umpire, but it is to be seen if the former India skipper raises concerns over the same on Day 3.
