Sourav Ganguly breathlessly waiting to watch Sachin Tendulkar's biopic

Legendary Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly is earnestly waiting to watch Sachin Tendulkar’s biopic, Sachin: A billion dreams. Ganguly, who has spent several years with the Master Blaster on the 22 yards share an incredible bond with him on and off the field. The two world class cricketers are a part of India’s fabulous four along with Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman.

Ganguly, in an interview taken by India Today, admitted to the fact that he knows a lot about his long-time buddy but he is willing to find out what made Sachin Tendulkar the man he is today.

The left-handed batsman said “Yes I am (excited). I have seen him closely so I will know a whole lot of things. But what I am really keen to know is what made him Sachin Tendulkar. And I think that the world will want to see that,”.

The movie makes you travel back in time and takes a detailed look into Sachin Tendulkar’s miraculous journey as a cricketer. From the time when Sachin Tendulkar made his debut as a sixteen-year-old kid to the moment when he stepped down onto the field with the willow in hand for one last time, the movie covers it all. Besides, the movie also throws light on a side of the little man which we do not get to see. And that is Sachin Tendulkar as a father and a husband.

From 1989 to 2013, Sachin Tendulkar carried the hopes of a country with a billion people counting on him. And he did it in style. The iconic batsman has conquered almost all the records in world cricket and no other cricketer in the world has a more glorified career than him.

Dada also stated that players like Sachin Tendulkar are incomparable and one should be thankful to god even if he gets half of the abilities these players possess.

“I have always believed that you cannot make Sachin Tendulkars or the Diego Maradonas, even if you get to 50-60% of their abilities, you will do a lot of good to yourself as a cricketer. So, the world need s to see what goes behind making a Sachin Tendulkar. We have seen all the runs, the wickets and the hundreds. It will be a remarkable opportunity for everyone,” concluded Sourav.
