Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly was all praises for the Indian pacers as they bowled beautifully and won the 2nd T20I for Team India. Jasprit Bumrah bowled exceptionally well to defend just eight runs in the last over. He finished with the figures 2 for 20 in his four overs. Ashish Nehra complemented him beautifully as he also bowled tight to scalp three wickets.

Ganguly was hopeful of the Indian team will win the final match at Bengaluru. The series at the moment hangs in balance at 1-1 and the team that wins the last T20I also takes the series. He said, “It was a great bowling display by Nehra and Bumrah, especially in the death overs. I am hopeful India will win in Bengaluru as well.”

The Supreme Court on Monday appointed a four-member panel of administrators to administrate the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and also to execute the Supreme Court approved advice given by Justice R.M. Lodha committee.

The panel consists of four distinct individuals. It is to be headed by a former Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) Vinod Rai. The other three members consist of a former women’s captain Diana Edulji who is also the only cricketer in the committee. Infrastructure Development and Finance Company (IDFC) managing director Vikram Limaye and cricket historian Ramachandran Guha are the other three members other than Rai.

When the president of Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) was asked about the same, he said that he is tired of this saga. “We all are seeing what is happening. I am tired of this,”

He was also asked about the selection of Edulji on the panel and seemed not as surprised as he honoured the decision of the Supreme Court. He said, “This is the Supreme court appointed committee. We all have to honour it.”

This four-member committee will act along with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BCCI Rahul Johri who would supervise the functioning of the board.
