The former Indian captain, Sourav Ganguly, has always been of the mindset of taking Indian Cricket to the new heights. We had seen it back when he took over the captaincy after the match-fixing scandal, and we are seeing it now as well. Be it as a player or not, Sourav Ganguly has always looked to take Indian cricket to the next level. Recently, he shared some of the pictures of the new indoor cricket facility, on Twitter, at the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB).

Sourav Ganguly has played over 400 matches for India and has scored over 18,000 international runs. He has also led India to a Champions Trophy victory (shared with Sri Lanka). He has always been an aggressive figure who changed the fate of Indian cricket, especially after the Match-fixing scandal. Even after his retirement, he is still serving the Indian cricket team, this time, as the President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India

Before the Prince of Calcutta became the BCCI President back in October 2019, he was the President of his home state’s cricket association, Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB). Ganguly took some great initiatives to transform the CAB and make it a beautiful place for cricket with all the required facilities.

The new indoor facility at CAB is ready!

After becoming the BCCI President, Dada had to give up his position as the President of the CAB, however, he is still involved in the work which is done in CAB. On March 14, Saturday, Sourav Ganguly tweeted about the new indoor cricket facility and shared some of the pictures of that facility. We could see the passion for cricket in his words and when he showed the pictures.

He tweeted some pictures with a caption, “The new indoor cricket facility at CAB .. @CabCricket @BCCI .. a state of art .. just finished today.”

Later, on the same day, he posted more pictures of the facility including a swimming pool and a gym that is there at the facility.

Current CAB President, Avishek Dalmiya, had also said that the facility will be up and running by March.
