At a time when Pakistan cricket is yet to come to terms to their skipper Sarfraz Ahmed’s derogatory comment during the second One-Day International against South Africa, the latest video that has gone viral is showing their opening batsman Fakhar Zaman swearing on the stump microphone during the fifth ODI against the Proteas. Tensions were running high with both Pakistan and South Africa as both the teams desperately wanted to win the series-decider at Newlands to boost their confidence ahead of the World Cup.

And amidst all this, Fakhar ended up speaking some words that are bound to paint him in the bad light. During the course of the match, Pakistan were well placed at 62 for 1 in the twelfth over bowled by Kagiso Rabada. The South Africa pace spearhead came up with an excellent delivery to finish the over. It was a bit short and slow which managed to deceive Fakhar. The Pakistan opener wanted to pull the ball but misjudged the line. Consequently, the ball hit him on the ribcage before being deflected to the wicketkeeper’s left side.

Seeing his partner getting a nasty blow, Babar Azam walked up to him before Fakhar said, “Slow ho gya. Yaar wo 140 hai, behen***d slow aa rha hai. (It got slow. He is 140 mate, beh*n***d it is coming slow).”

Here is the clip of the incident:

MUST WATCH! Fakhar Zaman just nailed it.

Proteas take the cup

South Africa, meanwhile, thrashed Pakistan by 7 wickets to take the five-match series 3-2. Wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton de Kock starred with the bat, scoring 83 off 58 balls to help South Africa chase down a target of 241 with seven wickets and ten overs to spare.

Batting first, Pakistan rode on Fakhar’s 70 to post a modest 240 for 8. Fakhar had taken the visitors to 128 for 3 in the 25th over before Andile Phehlukwayo. His dismissal helped the hosts strengthen their grip on the game as the tourists could collect only 49 runs from the next 15 overs. Imad Wasim (47* off 31) managed to hit some big shots in the slog overs to help Pakistan collect 63 off the last 10 overs.

But it did not make any difference as fifties from De Kock, Faf du Plessis (50*) and Van der Dussen (50*) took the Proteas over the line comfortably.
