SRH don't have as much depth as some of the other teams in the IPL: AB de Villiers

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) side will clash against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) outfit in their second match of the 14th IPL edition on 14th April 2021. And, ahead of the encounter, batting legend and RCB batting mainstay AB de Villiers has opened up on the ‘Orange Army’.

AB de Villiers stated that he has always enjoyed playing against the David Warner-led side. Adding that Hyderabad has a nice bowling attack, de Villiers opined that the Hyderabad side is a very smart one.

The batting behemoth also added that the Bangalore side should get some partnerships going if they want to dominate the Hyderabad franchise.

“It is a nice attack to face, it is a great challenge. I always enjoy playing against SunRisers Hyderabad. They can challenge you with their skill and they are always smart. It is a matter of us making sure that we get some partnerships and once we get on top of them, they are a kind of a team we can really dominate,” said de Villiers in a video posted by the RCB franchise on their official Twitter handle.

AB de Villiers opines that the RCB side should not allow the SRH side to make a comeback

AB de Villiers was also of the opinion that the Bangalore side should not allow their opposition to make a comeback into the game. The 37-year-old concluded by stating that the SRH outfit does not have a lot of depth.

“They do not have as much depth as some of the other teams in the IPL. If we get hold of them, we have to make sure that we do not allow them to make a comeback because that’s where they are really dangerous,” concluded de Villiers.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will clash in the 6th match of the IPL on 14th April 2021 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. While the Virat Kohli-led Bangalore side will be looking to post their second win on the trot, the Hyderabad side will be desperate to post their first win after a loss in their opening rubber.
