Statistical Highlights – India vs Australia, 2nd T20I

After a big win in 1st T20 International, India continued their form into the 2nd game to seal the series with a 27 run win at Melbourne Cricket Ground. After winning the toss, Australia invited India to bat first yet again. Rohit Sharma took 10 balls to get off the mark but created trouble for the Australians once he opened his account. Shikhar Dhawan on other hand scored a quick 42. Virat Kohli scored yet another fifty plus score with an unbeaten 59. Rohit top scored with 60 before he was run out due to misunderstanding.

Chasing 185 to win, Australia was powered by a brilliant opening stand from Shaun Marsh and Aaron Finch. However, Jadeja and Pandya picked a couple of quick wickets to bring India back into the game. Some great moments from MS Dhoni behind the stumps threw Australia out of the game as they managed to score just 157/8 in their 20 overs.
